LEADING INNOVATORS OF
IN-SPACE CHEMICAL PROPULSION
Solving propulsion challenges with groundbreaking speed and performance
ENGINES
Thrusters and rocket engines designed, 3D printed, and
hotfired all under one roof, rapidly changing the landscape of the
in-space propulsion market.
Our products are chemical in-space chemical propulsion systems operating on Hydrazine and Hydrazine-based constituents.
Agile’s strength is being able to develop, qualify, and deliver new capabilities quickly depending on mission criteria.
TESTING
Agile’s groundbreaking data collection system is the foundation of our engine design and development process.
Agile has conducted over 8,000 hotfire tests in support of propulsion development and qualification efforts. Agile's high fidelity data collection and close-coupled data analysis are two of many benefits of our test infrastructure.
MANUFACTURING
Agile’s robust in-house manufacturing facilities are equipped with both additive and subtractive manufacturing equipment enabling Agile to streamline and quality check every step of the production process. our expert team of manufacturing and additive engineers allow for leveraging the full capability of any and all processes needed to deliver the best product to meet your needs.
CAREERS
The opportunity to contribute to revolutionary propulsion designs, novel processes, and data analysis techniques. Our design philosophy of rapid iteration means you will see your work tested in weeks instead of years.
TEAM
A team comprised of some of the most talented people in the industry helping humanity go to space, advance science, and embark on a new era of exploration.
HISTORY
Agile has a 10+ years of hotfire testing and system design and development experience for commercial, civil, and defense programs. The data and experience acquired through this time has both been converted into a high quality deliverable product and created a capable team to deliver in-space propulsion solutions
RECENT NEWS
Agile Space Industries announced today that it has been contacted by The Exploration Company (TEC) to deliver flight thrusters for Nyx, a European modular space capsule that will dock with the International Space Station (ISS) targeting 2028. The contract marks a new international partnership for Agile and expands its growing role in global civil space missions.
As the summer internships come to an end, we asked our interns a few questions about their experience at Agile Space to highlight what they worked on and what they learned.
The modern propulsion system will enable operational “maneuver without regret” and support True Anomaly in its selection for U.S. Space Systems Command’s VICTUS HAZE Tactically Responsive Space mission
An interview with Kara Grubis, VP of engineering at Agile Space Industries about the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contract by SpaceWERX that Agile Space Industries won, for the Mobile Payload Processing Center MPPC, helping enable tactually responsive launches.
Agile Space Industries today announced it has successfully commissioned and conducted the first hot fire in its new Animas test facility, the only known commercial facility capable of testing engines more than 300 pounds in a vacuum-based environment to simulate space. The new testing facility not only expands the company’s position as a full-service propulsion solutions provider, but also advances the country’s propulsion capabilities as a whole.
In-space propulsion solution provider Agile Space Industries (Agile) today announced it has received a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase II contract from SpaceWERX, the innovation arm of the U.S. Space Force and a part of AFWERX, and the Air Force Research Laboratory
This year we have achieved true market traction with almost 50% higher revenue compared to 2022 and a 75% increase in orders. Agile was able to sign a total of 22 contracts, including tank and propulsion system sales (including our newly developed Ticonderoga propulsion system).
A new space race is just beginning, and we’re at a pivotal moment in the history of space exploration. The economic potential beyond the Earth is clear to commercial entities, and with space now declared as a “domain of warfare” along with land, sea and air, nations are also looking to gain the strongest foothold among the stars. Agile Space Systems is ready to serve both.
We’re excited to announce our first commercial sale of the LE144 bipropellant thruster for a deep space transportation vehicle! While we have already sold over 90 thrusters for commercial LEO and lunar lander applications, this new vehicle class represents a new opportunity with beyond-LEO transportation and servicing vehicles.
Agile Space Industries has designed, developed, manufactured, tested, and delivered the experimental AX19 preburner for Sierra Space in 19 weeks.
The teams at Sierra Space and Agile Space Industries executed the design, development and testing of the prototype engine in just over nine months by employing rapid design-to-test cycles and heavy use of advanced additive manufacturing techniques to minimize fabrication time.
Agile Space’s bipropellant throttling engine for dynamic in-space flight maneuvers has now advanced to the next stages of its development and production cycle. Both internal and external expert teams have rigorously reviewed the chemical propulsion system, and it has passed all scrutiny with flying colors.
